MPCAN is a network of local community groups and residents working together to make Miles Platting and surrounding areas an even better place to live, grow up and grow old!
We would love to welcome new members so please just drop in for a chat at the Parish Church of the Apostles on a Friday coffee morning 10-11am or email [email protected].
We have a bi-monthly full network meeting on the fourth Tuesday of the month at St Cuthbert’s Church (alternate months), and we have two busy action groups.
St Cuthberts Action Group is working together with the Parochial Church Council to carry out a neighbourhood wide consultation about exciting plans to redevelop the St Cuthberts site for community benefit.
The Climate Action Group are working in partnership with Manchester City Council, Creative Climate Resilience at the University of Manchester and Jigsaw Homes to develop a climate action plan and wildlife corridor through Miles Platting.
